ReFab Lab presents a chair challenge workshop that guides you to creatively transform a used chair and aims to show how a previously discarded object can be valuable material and not waste.

In an open workshop available for 4 evening sessions  at your own pace and time commitment, you will learn and practice basic wood working in a fully equipped woodshop while having fun re-imagining a chair that was saved from going into the landfill. The first session we will have a mandatory safety and basic hand tool introduction and the rest of the time will be your choice of participation for planning nd building your project. There will be a total of 13 hours of open shop time with full guidance and troubleshooting from your coordinator.  You will have complete creative control of your chair materials and an expert to help you achieve your vision!  This is a creative event meant for all skill levels. 

• We will supply the chair, tools, extra building materials, paint (while the supplies last), sandpaper, hardware, glue, dust masks and professional guidance.
• Carpentry teacher wlll be there to help you every step of the way
• 13 hours of optional workshop time
• At the end of the workshop you get to take your projects home to enjoy!

Fee:  1 400 sek (including vat and materials) + transaction fee (35 sek)
