NEW DATES ADDED! Intro to Woodworking - 4 Part Series (In English)

Welcome in the NEW YEAR!

Have you ever wanted to start wood working but don’t know where to begin? Do power tools make you nervous? Or do you just want to learn the core fundamentals? 

Learn the basics of woodworking and start building right now! This a 4 part series class for beginning wood workers ages 15 and older. No experience needed and materials are supplied. The most common building techniques will be taught and you will have hands-on experience as well as the possibility to build wood working projects based on the tools you learn each day. The class will be highly participatory through immersion with the tools. Each day you will receive safety and procedure instructions on select tools. You will then put that new knowledge to use and start practicing with close guidance on the first day.  As the course progresses so will your skills and knowledge.

You will learn a number of techniques to get ready to start building or planning your next carpentry project!! To become a master craftsperson in fine wood working, it takes years of patience and practice. To be a wood working hobbyist you just need a little instruction and confidence to try.

The course will take place over 4 days starting on week 06 and through week 07.  Tuesdays from 6 to 9 and Saturdays from 12 to 4. We will provide light fika during the workshops.
