Make a useful wooden box

A relaxed introduction to woodworking where participants make a decorative and useful box made of solid wood.

What's included in the instruction:

• Easy assembly

• Sanding and surface finishing

• Introduction to tools and machines

• Tips on wood and sustainability

The courses are educational and practical, with clear explanations and a leisurely pace where everyone can join in — even without previous experience of tools or woodwork.

Course leader – Sten Selander

The courses are led by Sten Selander, with extensive experience in creative work, design, carpentry and practical creation. With a strong interest in crafts, woodwork and “maker culture” — where the focus is on understanding materials, building with your hands and creating in a relaxed and social environment.

At Refab Lab, the courses are not about performance or perfection, but about curiosity, the joy of creation and community. The goal is for participants to feel safe, inspired and go home with something they have created themselves.
