Join us to learn foundation woodworking tools, safety and effective building techniques.  Throughout the class we will apply our aquired knowledge and skill building to a small project that will be finalized by the end of class.

WOOD CRAFTING IN MALMÖ

Welcome to our introduction to woodcraft!

Have you ever wanted to start wood working but don’t know where to begin? Do tools make you nervous? Or do you just want to learn the core fundamentals?

Now is your chance to explore the wonderful world of wood craft. In this closely supervised workshop we will learn and use foundation hand and power tools to learn how to make and build projects that interest you.  The course enables you to work with tools safely and practice with a simple project during class.  Wood is a wonderful material to work with and this is the first step in your journey to exploring your ideas and creativity with woodworking.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE

We accept everyone and this course is suitable for both beginners with zero experience as well as the more experienced.

THE STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE

The course meets 4 times for a total of 12 hours of instruction. The course will conclude with a basic project that utilizes the learnings.

MATERIALS

The class will emphasize material re use and you will have access to many saved building materials but there will be more materials available for purchase during the course, for example special hardware or new materials while supplies last. You may bring in your own materials as well.

ACCESSIBILITY

The course room is wheelchair accessible. There is a disabled toilet. Portable ear loop are available.  Consider our allergy sufferers - avoid strong scents. Our ambition is for as many people as possible to be able to participate in our courses and use our material.
